MBX® AXIAL

Specially designed to remove corrosion in areas that are difficult to reach.

MBX®AXIAL

The MBX® Axial is specially designed to remove corrosion in areas that are difficult to reach – like door rabbets, roof joints, wheel housings – to create a blasted surface for superior adhesion.

These characteristics make the Axial a perfect complement to the well-proven MBX® systems.

The MBX® Axial tool can be used with MBX® Belts. When equipped with an Accelerator Bar (optional purchase item, ZU-082 / ZU-083), it can also be used with Bristle Blaster® Belts – for higher bristle impact and efficiency.

Frequently asked questions

MBX®Axial

What applications is the MBX® Axial suitable for?

The MBX® Axial Blaster® supplements the MBX® for carrying out body work at areas that are especially difficult to reach, in particular, grooves, joints and inner edges.

Thanks to its special geometric shape and belts with just one row of wire bristles, it is ideal for working in, e.g. roof joints (rain channels), wheel housings and or door rabbets (door jambs).

Can I also use MBX® Axial Belts with other drive units?

No, because MBX® Axial Belts are specially developed for use with the MBX® Axial drive unit. The preassembled Air Pressure Regulator reduces the air pressure and ensures the optimum rotational speed. This is essential to enable the MBX® Axial Belts to work effectively.

Can the MBX® Axial also be used with the accelerator bar?

Yes, the arm on which the Accelerator Bar is mounted should be attached for this purpose. The Accelerator Bar increases the kinetic energy of the bristles so that the MBX® Axial can work highly effectively and quickly, e.g. when removing rust or sealant.

Where can I find instructions on how to use the MBX® Axial?

It is essential that you know how to work correctly with MBX® Axial Technology. You can find appropriate instructions in the user manual. We also recommend that you watch our application film.

What servicing work does the MBX® Axial need?

The compressed-air motor should be regularly oiled. All you have to do is put a few drops of low-viscosity oil into the compressed-air connection. Proper maintenance ensures that the tool enjoys a longer service life and is a precondition for warranty claims.
