Master heavy coating/rust removal

Tercoo®

The essential first step for thick, tough substrates. Rotating discs with tungsten carbide pins strike the surface in a controlled pendulum motion, removing paint, bitumen, epoxy and heavy rust without generating heat.

How this step works

Hammering impact. No heat.

Flexible SBR discs contain tungsten carbide pins at a specific angle. Rotation drives them into the surface in a controlled pendulum motion, leaving a clean, roughened substrate ready for bristle blasting.

Flexible SBR discs

Tungsten carbide pins positioned at a precise angle for optimal impact force.

Centrifugal force

Rotation drives the pins to strike the surface in a controlled pendulum motion.

Hammering impact

Removes paint, bitumen, epoxy and rust without generating heat.

Thorough cleanliness

Leaves surfaces ready for bristle blasting, even with coaltar epoxy.

Step one: remove

Strip it back.

The two-step method

One machine, two steps

Tercoo® + Bristle Blaster®: one for all.

Together they form a complete surface preparation system, from removal to activation, powered by the same drive unit. Tercoo® does the heavy bulk removal, then the Bristle Blaster® activates and profiles to standard.

  • Step 1. Tercoo®: removes thick coatings, corrosion, tar and rubber from steel or concrete
  • Step 2. Bristle Blaster®: activates and profiles to ISO 8503, a high peak-count surface
  • One drive unit powers both steps, less equipment, simpler inventory
  • Fast changeover, swap from Tercoo® to bristle blasting in about 30 seconds
Why it pays

Built for heavy-duty projects.

Tercoo® handles the punishing thick-coating work first, which means faster prep and longer belt life downstream.

High productivity

Removes coatings up to 5 mm (0.2 in) thick, cutting preparation time dramatically.

Belt extension & savings

Handling heavy removal first extends the life of your Bristle Blaster® belts.

Drive-unit compatible

Works with Bristle Blaster® Ultimate Electric, Cordless & Pneumatic Double.

~30 m² per disc pack

Approx. 30 m² of Rustgrade B corrosion per disc pack.

We care · Closing Cycles

Control the surface. Close the cycle.

A controlled system isn't only cleaner output, it's a closed loop. Grit-free means no loose abrasive, no spent media and no secondary contamination, with repairable tools, returnable belts and recyclable materials. People, planet and power, engineered in.

Independently measured

Vibration & noise, documented to ISO 5349-2

Offshore contractors and asset owners ask for independent proof before they qualify a tool. This is it: an independent hand-arm vibration and noise assessment, measured to NS-EN ISO 5349-2 under simulated field conditions, so operator exposure can be planned with confidence.

Independent assessment by Brekke & Strand Akustikk AS (report AKU-01, 2026) to NS-EN ISO 5349-2. Values are trigger-time levels including measurement uncertainty; daily-use guidance follows the vibration action/limit bands and assumes hearing protection. Confirm exposure for your own work using the report and an ISO 5349-2 calculator. This is a vibration & noise assessment, not an ATEX certification.
