Select the surface cleanliness standard required by your specification. ISO 8501-1 (Sa / St) and SSPC / AMPP standards are all supported, they map to the same belt selection.

Select Substrate Material

Substrate determines the belt chemistry. Stainless steel requires dedicated stainless belts and a separate accelerator bar to prevent iron contamination.

Stainless Steel selected. You must use stainless-grade belts (blue label) and the dedicated Stainless Accelerator Bar to prevent iron contamination. Never use a carbon steel bar on stainless work.

Select Surface Profile Grade

Select the required anchor profile depth for your coating system. Coarser profiles improve mechanical adhesion for heavy-duty coatings.

Anchor profile · SSPC-SP11. Profile grades measured by surface roughness comparator, replica tape (ASTM D4417-C) or gauge (Ra/Rz). Grades shown in µm and mil values.
