Grit-Free Surface Preparation Below the Waterline

Engineered for underwater environments, diving operations, and offshore maintenance, delivering controlled surface conditioning even in demanding subsea conditions.

Extreme environments

Below the surface

When corrosion protection needs to extend below the surface of the sea, precision, safety, and reliability become even more critical.

“Grit-free preparation, controlled even below the waterline.”

Water pressure

Managing buoyancy and pressure effects at depth.

Limited visibility

Operating in murky or restricted subsea environments.

Environmental risk

Preventing contamination in sensitive marine ecosystems.

Operational constraints

Meeting strict diving campaign and ROV requirements.

The subsea advantage

Hydraulic power, underwater integrity

The Bristle Blaster® Subsea is a hydraulic underwater device with a unique water drive. Connected via a single, neutrally buoyant high-pressure hose, it creates a controlled, inspectable surface profile below the waterline, without grit or containment. Topside, the same principle runs on the Bristle Blaster® range.

Certified for explosive atmospheres

Spark-free surface prep for subsea and splash-zone hot-work zones.

The Bristle Blaster® Pneumatic Ultimate has undergone an independent Gexcon ignition-hazard analysis and ATEX 2014/34/EU conformity evaluation, so coating repair can continue in hazardous offshore areas without electric-tool hot-work permits.
